Very good question. Maybe (and the name escapes me) the 1980 elecrtic live album that is a companion to For the faithful. I say that because it really introduces a lot of songs to a first timer. Not a lot of drums and space.

What else does this person listen to?

country: try NRPS, Garcia/Grisman, Old & in the Way, Kingfish, selected Grateful Dead covers.

R&B: Jerry Garcia Band.

Blues: the old PigPen stuff should get their attention.

Dylan: there must be some 15+ covers in the GD and JG catalogs.

Folk: WorkingMans Dead, American Beauty, Reckoning.
